Mr. Nguyen Tuong Vu
Mr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam, arrived in the US in 1990. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1996 and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1998. He is currently a System Engineer at Motorola Inc. in Austin, Texas. Vu came to Len Duong camp in 1998. He came back to help out with Camp Staff for the camp Len Duong 1999 and joined VCSA afterward and has become an active member since then. In 2000, he was instrumental in helping to establish the VCSA chapter in Austin Texas and led the organizing committee to deliver Camp Len Duong 2001 in Wimberley, Texas with great success. Besides volunteering in numerous projects for VCSA, he also volunteers to teach Vietnamese language classes at the Linh Son Buddhist organization in Austin, Texas. Volunteerisms, a commitment to community services, and leadership have been the three things he was inspired to develop by the Len Duong camp. Tuong Vu has served as the Camp Master of Len Duong camp 2001 in Austin, Texas; and Len Duong camp 2003 in Memphis, Tennessee. Vu also serves on the Executive Board as the Chair of Magazine Huong Viet Production committee during the term of 2002-2004. At Camp Len Duong 2007, Tuong Vu was honored as one of the 10 outstanding campers who have made significant impacts to the local community in the past ten years.
