Our Goals

To promote participation of Vietnamese-American/Canadian students in volunteerism in the Vietnamese community in the local city, VCSA will award eight $500.00 scholarships to outstanding young community activists who want to attend camp Len Duong 2010 and need financial help.

Requirements

What: Vera Tran Award Contest
Prize: One award, certificate and $1,000.00 USD
Deadline: April 5th, 2010
Eligibility: Open only to those who plan to attend Len Duong camp 2010 and who have attended at least one Len Duong camp and was able to apply the skills learned at the camp to deliver a project at the local community. The local community can be anywhere.

VCSA would like to announce the contest for the design of the Logo of Youth Leadership Development Camp LenDuong 2010 to be held from May 28th - 31th 2010 at Camp Forest Glen in Huntsville, Texas. The winning logo will be used as the official logo for Lenduong 2010 Camp

Who Can Participate: everyone who has an artistic skill in designing the logo is encouraged to participate

What is the Prize:

  1. The winner will be awarded $250

VCSA is pleased to announce the Len Duong 2010 Essay Contest with the following details:

The purpose of the contest is to encourage young community activists from across the North America to share their ideals in volunteerism and to encourage them to attend Len Duong camp.

Who can participate? Everyone who is currently active in a community group and wants to attend Len Duong'10 Youth Leadership Camp is eligible to participate in the contest.
