Mr. Phong H. Phạm

Mr. Pham (Dallas, Texas), arrived in the US in 1975, as a Vietnamese refugee after the war. Phong graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineer in 1983 and have relocated to Dallas after graduation. He currently serves as Sr. AIX and TSM Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator at ACS in Dallas, Texas. Phong is an AIX Certified Specialist: IBM flavored UNIX since 1990 and also Tivoli Storage Manager Certfied Specialist since 1997. Phong was one of the founders of the VCSA Chapter in Dallas and Fort Worth Area. He has served in the Organizing Committee of Len Duong camp (1998, 2000 in Dallas; 2001 in Austin and 2002 in Houston). He also has been very active with the Youth Excellence Recognition Luncheon program in Dallas Fort Worth since 2001. Phong also helped to organize Tha Tho (Poetry Game of Fortune) Game Booth at Tet Festival in DFW area in the past three years (2002, 2003, and 2004) and actively involved with the Organizing committee for cultural performance programs such as: “Vietnam Dang Xua”, Poem Recital Night “Que Huong Nhin Lai”, “Doan Quoc Sy va dong song dinh menh”, etc. Beside being a professional, Phong is also a Real Estate Investor, specializing in Residential homes in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. His main hobby is business investment. His vision statement: “"Vietnamese Culture and Science Association, a national level non-profit organization, makes a positive impact to the Vietnamese communities in the United States of America."
